My Woodworking Creation Process

My Woodworking Creation Process

The materials I use to create my products are hardwoods from our cabin property along with the softer red cedar wood. If desired, dyed epoxy is used to create "rivers" or other colored designs. Clear epoxy provides a high gloss finish. Wipe on poly and danish oil creates a softer, satin finish. FDA approved, food grade epoxy is used for charcuterie boards. I try to make the best use of wood grains resulting in attractive pieces. I utilize typical tools including saws, plane, router, and lots of sanding. Typically, hair pin legs are used for tables. You can be sure that every piece is handcrafted as well as I can. See the Gallery for past projects and historical photos. Read the Our Story tab for our origin.
